About
Adrian Villalobos grew up in a small town in Puerto Rico in the late '90s. Their passion for the sciences began by reading as many science books as possible in their local library as a child. However, their talent for physics and mathematics got them all the way from an undergraduate program at the University of Puerto Rico to teaching physics and astronomy at various colleges in the Greater Los Angeles area since 2018.They're a firm believer that complex physical concepts like quantum mechanics and theoretical astrophysics can be explained to a lay audience. And as a queer person who grew up with limited access to resources, they are deeply invested in aiding people from underrepresented groups participate in STEM programs and activities. They love watching independent films with their wife and playing videogames. They are also a videogame developer with a growing portfolio of indie games they've worked on!
